Active compounds consisting of volatile organic compounds with various structural forms and properties. This indicator really determines the character and role. Among them can cure diseases for humans and some also function as a distinctive aroma producer. These are all influenced by these structures, giving rise to these characteristics which have been studied by many scientists from all over the world by observing their structures to see the activity they cause. This study intends to prove the active compounds computationally by tracing the names of the compounds contained and scanning them to some well-known software such as Chemoffice. The information obtained is presented in an easy to understand tabular form.
Afran Marcelino Pratama, Syinta Gussri Fatmawati, Amalta Ferdinand ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/117 Fri, 14 Jan 2022 07:26:25 +0000 In-Silico Analysis of Chemical Compounds Cinnamomum verum for Antibacte http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/111
Cinnamom or Cinnamomum verum is a natural substance that has been known as one of the spices, but later known as tradisional medicine. Cinnamon bark contains several antibacterial compounds, such as eugenol and cinnamaldehyde. Antibacteri are susbtances that can interfere with growth or even kill bacteria ny means of harmful microbial metabolism. This literature review aims to identify and analyze the trends, datasets, methods and frameworks used in the topic of attribute independence assumption assumptions on NB between 2010 and 2018. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria designed, it shows 71 study studies of attribute independence assumptions on the published NB between January 2010 and December 2018 are investigated in this literature review have been conducted as a review of systematic literature. A systematic literature review is defined as the process of identifying, assessing, and interpreting all available research evidence in order to provide answers to specific research questions.
Wulandari Agustin, Ani Aguswita, Anggi Delvia Safitri ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/111 Sun, 16 Jan 2022 02:28:14 +0000 Bioinformatics Study of Hibiscus Flower (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) Against Diabetes http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/86
People often experience diabetes problems. Adequate and intensive treatment is expensive. Hibiscus flower (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L) has potential as an alternative medicine for diabetes mellitus. The active ascorbic-acid compound with the name IUPAC (2R) -2 - [(1S) -1,2-dihydroxyethyl] -3,4-dihydroxy-2H-furan-5-one found in this part of the flower plays a role in treating disease diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of hibiscus flowers for the health of the body. Hibiscus flowers are very useful including helping the healing process of diabetes mellitus because this plant contains ascorbic acid or vitamin C which is believed to be able to treat diabetes mellitus. The research method used is library research where data sources are obtained from primary data sources and secondary data sources. This method is a combination of descriptive, comparative, qualitative and quantitative methods.
Siska Febriyani, Melani Mustika, Rada Febriyanti, Vioni Yuliof de Azhike ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/86 Sun, 16 Jan 2022 03:01:03 +0000 Bioinformatics Study of Cymbopogon nardus Compound as a Mosquito Repellent http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/122
Cymbopogon nardus is a plant of the Poaceae family which is an herbal plant that is used by the community as room and clothing fragrances, relieves wound pain, improves digestion, beautifies the skin and bites the body of mosquitoes. Several previous studies have applied Citronella plants (Cymbopogon nardus) as mosquito repellents. Mosquitoes are very annoying insects because they cause pain and pain, they can also cause skin lesions due to mosquito bites and infections. Sensible mosquito repellent in the form of spray, burn or liquid where chemical compounds are harmful to human health, namely propoxur, tranflutrin, bioaleterin, dikiorvos, dalletherine, octachiorophil ether. The purpose of this study was to see the bioactivity of plants in Serai Wangi (Cymbopogon nardus). The method used is a computational study using various bioinformatics applications. From the research it was found that the plants in Serai Wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) were very effective as mosquito repellents.
Rizka Purwanti, Amalia Putri Lubis ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/122 Sun, 16 Jan 2022 07:41:51 +0000 Substance Dipeptidyl peptidase IV in Purple Sweet Potatoes to Maintain Blood Sugar Levels http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/94
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease due to the pancreas not producing insulin effectively when blood sugar levels exceed normal values. Diabetes mellitus has typical symptoms consisting of polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia, and weight loss for no apparent reason, while non-typical symptoms of DM include weakness, tingling, wounds that are difficult to heal, itching, blurred eyes, erectile dysfunction in men and in men. pruritus vulvar women. The World Health Organization (WHO) says that there are two ways to lower blood sugar levels, namely doing therapy by means of pharmacology and non-pharmacology. Which pharmacological therapy is with oral hypoglycemic drug therapy, insulin therapy or a combination of both. Non-pharmacological therapy consists of lifestyle changes that include physical exercise, education on various issues related to DM and most importantly, dietary regulation called medical nutritional therapy. One way is to consume purple sweet potatoes which contain high fiber. and low glycemic carbohydrates, also contain Dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-4) Y which plays a role in the conversion of glucagon-like-peptide-1 (GLP-1) into its metabolites. Yangmana GLP-1 is a peptide hormone that plays a role in stimulating insulin release, so that inhibition of this enzyme can regulate blood sugar levels in people with Diabetes Mellitus.
Yollanda Prissila Putri, Dina Fadhila ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://catalytic.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/jurnal/article/view/94 Sun, 16 Jan 2022 08:08:10 +0000
